We saw this picture on the internet of a conference room table. It was so captivating, it was a glass table with 2 engine blocks and with racing car seats as office chairs. This would be so beautiful to have in our office and to work from. We loved the idea of it so we have decided to build it from scratch with a General Motors aluminum block.
I looked at the detail of it and notice the welds on the stand, the rods from the block that hold the glass. I contacted my brother immediately and said "I love this, how can you make me this?" He responded and directed me to contact an engine core seller for 2 aluminum LS blocks. My brother works on performance GM cars and trucks and he would help me on cleaning the blocks. So now, I call the engine core seller and he gives me a prices. I pick the those engine blocks. Now, I am sitting down thinking this is progress on the project, but I am still not even half way done. Next step, engine cleaned and taken to my next contact, office furniture store.
